David has black belts in Karate and Kumdo (Korean sword fighting) as well as brown in Aikido. He currently trains exclusively in Systema locally with David and Rick Merrell and with Vladmir Vasiliev. He is the founder and instructor of the Central FL Systema school.

David has been involved with martial arts for over 20 years. 

He has been training under Systema Masters David and Rick Merrell for a few years now. They were the first Americans to study with Systema co-founders Mikhail Ryabko and Vladimir Vasiliev and received certifications through them.

David organized the Central FL Systema  School in 2008. It is the first Systema school in the greater Orlando area. He is the first Certified Instructor (in training) in the Greater Orlando area.

On a personal level, David is a Doctor of Acupuncture, Naturopath, Herbal Master and Writer. He owns and operates several successful Internet bases companies with his wife, Lisa. They are: www.hghplus.net, www.OrmanInstitute.com, www.PersonalizedHealthCD.com and www.ActiveWellnessCoach.com.

He has had over 30 articles published in professional journals and a book entitled, "The Art of Finishing." He had the most successful natural medicine practice in S. Florida for many years, along with a weekly radio show and TV appearances. He has lectured to Congress and taught at several Universities and Colleges. In addition, David is a marathoner, having completed a number of marathons and other distance events.
